Receive Dental Treatment With Hospital or IV Sedation

This option is for patients that need extensive dental work, have special needs, a significant medical history and/or their anxiety levels are too high for in office sedation to work safely and be effective. Most medical insurance companies cover the anesthesia portion of this treatment. An anesthesiologist administers a general anesthesia and your dentist can complete treatment while you are asleep. This is an out patient procedure, which is done at Monmouth Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

It is important to mention, a local anesthetic will always be administered along with whichever sedation method is chosen.
