Safe Oral Sedation

Oral Sedation is a safe and convenient approach to an anxiety free dental visit. When you arrive for your treatment you will be given one or more oral sedative pills, which will put you into a relaxed and comfortable state. The medicine is very similar to valium and Xanax but is much more effective.

You will be awake but very drowsy. Many times, we will use this in combination with Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) to maximize you comfort. Your vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation) will be monitored throughout the procedure. The time you spend in the dentists’ chair will feel like minutes. There will be little recollection of your dental visit and the procedure will have seemed to pass quickly.
